I took this at Macaw Landing in Portland, Oregon. It was such an incredible experience. 90 Macaws. I have a video that is guaranteed to make you plug your ears! It was awesome and beautiful.

I like writing on Thursday’s apparently. Maybe The Big Bang Theory motivates me J I have had a fantastic week with some really interesting business opportunities coming up. I am so happy to be getting back to business! Wow – again with the cheesy lines. I really enjoy helping people and getting things done. I also knocked out the annual doctor visits too – very productive week. It’s always good to get those off the to-do list.

Lately I have been unsubscribing to duplicate lists (e-mail and Facebook and/or twitter) and ones I don’t use anymore. It feels great, but then when I don’t get any e-mail I am bummed – isn’t that hilarious? Never satisfied! I joined a few groups on Linked In this week that have been informational. I like finding new perspectives and people. I am hoping to go to lunch next week with a woman I met at the Chamber mixer on Monday. It was a surprisingly good meeting. They did a good job getting people to talk so I was able to meet a good number of people and find out more about the town.

Hopefully next time I write it will be about a new project!

Wow – it’s been a while. I can’t believe how busy I can be without a 8 to 5 job. I made a list of the classes I am enrolled in – I thought it was 4. It’s 12. I need to pare that down, but I am procrastinating. I know I need to give up the programming classes, but . . . ha ha!

We went for a drive on Sunday and I got some great pictures of cows – I am fascinated with them.

Here’s a trio of pictures I took within seconds. I absolutely love the expressions! (Created in Photoshop)

I am also including a picture of a bunny in our yard. I like it because you can see the snow covered mountains in the background. I need to upload more pictures to Flicker. There are such great shots around here!

I now have goals – business, marketing and personal. Still refining a bit and reading Michael Port’s “Book Yourself Solid” to get a more detailed plan in place. I feel good. I think I have some answers and I am looking forward to what comes. If anyone is interested, please join my Mastermind Business Group on Facebook. I am posting most of my business related posts there now and I would like to start a conversation with others. My vision for it is: A sounding board, a venting “safe” place and a place to celebrate your accomplishments with like-minded people. The mission: A place to discuss your business issues and concerns, consider new marketing ideas and act as a support system for each other. Who’s Invited? Anyone passionate about business and willing to share their ideas with others.
