I have taken some time off from writing; it wasn’t really intentional, just needed. I tend towards over-achievement (REALLY? Ha ha) and had gotten myself involved in so many projects I fell behind in almost all of them So….coding classes have been dropped, bills and receipts filed, travel brochures sorted, discarded or put in a place I can find them when necessary and several books finished. I feel good. I still don’t have all the answers I want, but what would the fun be if I did?

A lot of the books I have were published a decade or more ago and I can’t believe I have been surrounded by such greatness and never took the time to read them! One such book is: The New Pioneers: The Men and Women Who Are Transforming the Workplace and Marketplace by Thomas Petzinger Jr.. I included the Amazon link in case you are interested. I have taken a lot of business courses and this one book went into more depth than any of my 18-week courses. It also had a lot of great examples. I especially enjoyed the Abraham Maslow information. Favorite quote: “What a man can be, he must be.” I didn’t get any comments on it when I posted it on Twitter and Facebook, but it really resonates with me right now. I have tried for many months to deny my desire to be involved in a corporate environment, but I can’t fight it anymore. I wonder if that’s what artists talk about – they have to create? Hmmm. I have never experienced these feelings before (probably because I was working in one!), they are intense and will not be denied.

Today we went to a store called Big R – they have all sorts of things I had never seen, like these ropes, I liked the display so I took a picture.

I really wanted a Cattle magazine to learn about them, but …I know, too many rabbits. Speaking of that, we now have 4 bunnies coming to eat dinner on our grass around 5 pm daily. Guess what they say is true. They are so cute! They make me smile.

I updated my LinkedIn profile with many of my college courses (they have a 50 course limit, so I had to improvise and move some of it to my summary). I still couldn’t list them all, and I feel a little exposed with all that information out there, but I need to own who I am. Please take a look and let me know if it’s too much and let’s connect if we aren’t already. You never know where life will take you and who you may help along the way.
